BMW e90 HiFi OEM Amplifier replacement. Replaced with JL Audio XD600 using OEM Amp bracket requiring modification.

What happened when your amp got wet? I have a 08 328i and I've had issues with it for 3 years now. No sounds coming out of speakers. (I don't know what happen other than I had a short in my car. That short, melted my fuse box BMW refused to pay for it even though the main issue was recalled months later.)

Did u have to swap the stereo head unit for the amp to work? My amp just died sadly
I have a hi fi stereo is yours the same or Hk ? So by replacing the amp alone you got some improved sound ?Im disappointed I didn't have the hk but the hifi sounds pretty nice If this amp swap improves it more would be nice

so do I have to run all new wire to my speakers
Did u completely took out the hifi amp and replace with the new with using the stock deck? If so I have a 07 335i Wich should be the same thing with it being a 90s 3 series
