Here I take on a project I have been wanting to try for quite a while-blacking out the chrome trim on my 335. I wanted to do something reversable so scuffin and painting wasn’t an option for me.I had considered using plastidip but settled on a vinyl wrap since it was something totally new for my skillset. Im not an expert however this stuff seems pretty fool proof if you take your time. I went with the gloss trim as I wanted it to blend into my black car a little better and have no regrets of passing over the flat/matt wrap.

Good job and it looks cool! Well done.
Looks way better blacked out. I dig it.
I'm doing mine right now. Looks great!
How has it held up to rain and car washes?
Great job! I was debating paint or plasti dip but it seems like this would hold up better against the elements, washing the car etc. The only potential disadvantage I could see is sun fading maybe?
Thanks man very helpful!

Hey this looks awesome and I've been scared, to he honest, to tackle blacking out the trim on my F32. How about some updates?
1) Wouldn't the tape come off when you roll your window up a few hundred times?
2) Has it held up to car washes and weather?
This video was incredibly helpful and informative!
I've been thinking about doing this for a long time now. This video was very helpful. I like how you walked us through the trials and tribulations. Thanks for being my guinea pig, now I know what to expect. I'm thinking about doing this in 3M brushed black metallic
What paper did you used ?
