Part 10
This is a 10 part series of the Bike Safe course that can be done with any police force in the UK. The day is aimed at people that have full bike licences and want to improve their riding on the road.
The day is set out with a 30-40 minute power point presentation in the morning and the rest of the day riding with a lunch break in the middle.
The day is very relaxed and a lot of fun! As you can guess from the title of the video I low slide off my bike in part 10. Even though I came off it was still a great day, I’m still riding to this day and my bike looks even better than it did before!
Hope you enjoy this series for those that are interested in doing the course.

thanks for the reply understood exactly what happened to you and yes virtually unavoidable. I'm saving up for my 675. by the time I've got the funds to purchase It i will have enough experience to enjoy it. ride safe and be cool with greetings from south London.
what exactly happend
That was unlucky .doing so well. Hope all good now.
Good to hear your ok, and hope your still riding, done it myself twice in 45 years of riding.but the reality is it had nothing do with dips in the road, otherwise we would be coming off on raised white lines, manhole covers etc, skids in wet weather happen for two reasons excessive acceleration,or excessive braking, you can get away with it in the dry,but smoothness on brakes and throttle is the key in wet weather, you did what I did years ago and grabbed a handful of throttle after coming around the roundabout.best to recognise the mistake and learn from it.
I just assumed it was because your acceleration was not slowly constant.. Other bikers must have same issues on that exact spot.

Red Kite.
You started off so well with the explanation, but it became a damp squid.10 episodes mostly in the rain,so nothing can be seen clearly.Redo on a dry day so all can be seen. You go out with a class1 police rider who tells you through a report what was good or bad about your riding. This is the object of the ride and a commentary by your self or a "filled" in one could have been added after,so your viewers would know how to ride safely especially into bends, and lane positioning generally. And so many other factors.
All riders however many years riding should join a motorcycle club that trains you to ride at the I.A.M INSTITUTE ADVANCED MOTORCYCLISTS
This gives one the extra skills required to ride on our busy roads and will probably save your life one day. Safe riding everyone.
I hear what you saying about lip in road but I didn't see anything that would cause that or wrong with your riding. I wonder if there wasn't some diesel or oil you hit coming off that section they may have contributed?
Thanks for sharing, a lot of people wouldn't have
Kudos for uploading and glad you were relatively unscathed mate.
Hey Red Kite can I use your video in one of my new compilations? I'll credit you in the description and add a link to your video. Thanks:)
