World premiere at Pebble Beach – the Audi PB18 e-tron concept car

What is it?
Designed at the Audi Design Loft in Malibu, California, the Audi PB18 e-tron could become the curtain raiser to a range of supercars at the top of the Audi brand. The PB stands for Pebble Beach, home of the auto show where it was revealed.
Engine Specs?
Under the hood and the body, it has three powerful electric motors—one up front and two in the rear. The latter two deliver power output of up to 150 kW to the front axle and 450 kW to the rear, with max output at 500 kW, and with boosting, the driver can temporarily access up to 570 kW. Audi says 0 to 100 km/h (62.1 mph) will take just over 2 seconds.
Total range on a full charge is 310 miles; complete charging on an 800-volt charger takes 15 minutes. That is significantly faster than electric cars currently on the road today.
When can I buy the new Audi PB18 e-tron?
The car will be in action on the track soon and may form the basis for the Etron GT which we are expecting to see revealed next year.
