Road trip from the casino on Sentosa island in the South of Singapore to Woodlands Causeway (facing Johor Baru city in Malaysia) in the North of Singapore, via the southern tunnels as well as the CTE, SLE & BKE highways. Distance approximately 30 Km in 30 mins under daytime normal traffic conditions.
This video is intended to be with no narration/commentary, just the actual vehicle interior perceived engine, transmission, suspension, road & general environmental noises. However occasionally i may comment briefly on the sound level meter, road & engine speed readings etc. amongst any other points of interest as i see worthwhile to mention.

Actual perceived interior noise vibration harshness (i.e. NVH) levels overall on the low side (as expected from this class of car) which is reasonably impressive as during steady cruising speeds on quiet tarmat road surfaces, it’s as quiet if even more quiet than a full EV like a BYD E6.
An unusual association i observe is how similar the M272 modular V6-cylinder engine (also used in the S-Class among various other Classes) sounds while coasting with the OM407h found on the O 305 city-bus (very different type of Mercedes-Benz of course !) deployed in Singapore in chassi-form (i.e. non integral monocoque CBU form unlike the Citaro) till around 1999. As such, driving this car is in some ways a nostalgic drive for someone who can recall experiences on rides on the O 305 some 30 years ago ! It remains a mystery to me as to whether the similar sound was just coincidental or some intended design characteristic by the engine designers. Mercedes-Benz W211 car & Citaro bus rear lampset styling designs strike a similar design language which i find quite obvious worth noting.
