   Thanks for the update :-). I have a question. Since the Niro does not have an electrical heater, it relies on the combustion engine to heat up the cabin — even if you are only driving on electricity. In the winter, on very cold mornings, how quick does the engine heat up the cabin when you are only using the electric motor for propulsion?

   Nice to see you again Chris. I've got my Niro PHEV 1 week ago and agree with all your comments. Here in Spain (34°C) I'm getting compsumtions of 3.8 in Hybrid mode, very impressive. Have a nice holidays!

   I picked my Niro PHEV up a few days ago and I'm very impressed with it. I can drive all my normal journeys in EV (15-20 mile), I've so far found the EV is great in the 0-35 MPH range but struggle to charge speed at higher speed. In sport mode drive as I'd expect any car to and the economy seems fine but I need to do some more driving in all mode. Thanks for the Video they helped my understand the Niro better then old media review and alike.

   Thanks Chris yes I’m getting similar mpg readings on my phev. I have just clocked 10k miles and engine had loosened up nicely now. I have a 60 mile commute so not all ev and really pleased with the economy. Looking forward to your next updates

   Good to see a video from you again! Thanks for the update. Good info you shared. Back in January your videos helped me decide to buy one, and I love my Niro. I have about 4000 miles on mine now, and because most of my daily driving is under 25 miles a day, I have an average of over 700 mpg! And that's even with some occasional long weekend drives. I'd love to do an all EV next, but have too much range anxiety. Florida is a long state with too few chargers so far. Plus, hurricanes take out our power often enough to have anxiety over that too. So, I'll stick with the PHEV for now. Keep the videos coming when you can. I always learn something.

   I've been wanting the plug in version but none of the dealers here will get me one. They are saying the orders will be canceled because we are in Texas. And if I were to travel to another state to get one the dealers here won't service them.

    Thank you for the update on the PHEV!I finally own a EX Premium model.I have a question that I didn't see addressed in the owners manual.Most cars on long mountain or steep incline descend, you would downshift into a lower gear and use "engine braking" to slow the vehicle down, or maintain speed without heating up the brakes to much.On the Toyota Prius there is a "B" indicator on the shifter and this is used for that purpose.Is there something similar to this on the KIA Niro PHEV? Do we just lightly touch the brakes to engage the regen-braking?Thanks for all the infor

    Did the sunroof come with this PHEV? Here in the USA the PHEV does not come with sunroof. Only the Touring trim does.

    hej Chris forlygterne på Niro har 2 "linser" i hver side. Men er det korrekt er det kun er de yderste der lyser? eller har de inderste også en funktion? Vi har bestilt en Niro PHEV i juli så der går nok noget tid før jeg selv kan prøve det af.

    Thanks for the update Chris, I just got mine yesterday and looking forward to exploring it 🙂 One question; Re deciding when to use EV / HEV how do you generally do this? E.g. EV for short journeys / HEV if you know your range is longer? There's also the question of Sport mode for charging while driving and use of ACC. I'm asking this from the perspective of gaining the best economy overall in all situations… Thanks.
