Interesting lack of horsepower for a 2.0 liter turbo at 180ish horsepower but respectable torque. Honda is pushing 250 hp plus from their 2 liter turbo so VW must be tuning the engine (intake, exhaust, ecu, etc.) down. And 9 seconds to 0-60?

I would advise everyone to stay away from Volkswagens, Especially the Tiguan. It is one of the least reliable vehicles on earth. You are going to need a big pocket to keep this nightmare running.

Nice to see a German car review for a change. Getting tired of all Asian car reviews. Maybe a few American car reviews would be nice Just bought a new Passat and it is one heck of a nice fully loaded vehicle!!
My wife has it, VW Tiguan SEL Premium R-line, and she gets average 32 mpg for commuting to work 50 miles per day. This vehicle is so good and a great looking.
I prefer the European spec. I beleive they now have a Tiguan R now with 320BHP
got SEL-R line and love it. Was on a highway on Eco Drive mode and acceleration was just fine. When driving with ACC the speed is adjusting perfectly especially on a slight hill. You can feel the power of the car. I didn't have a chance to test sport mode yet

Looks like the new VW Logo on this little beast now. I had a 2019, very few complaints with it! But I did trade it off for a Mazda CX-5, but I immediately missed space and large door storage and the comfortable seats here, as well as the wonderful brakes.
You totally forgot to show the 30 color ambient lighting that was in that car and the SEL r line. Super nice. You can change the colors under CAR/SETTINGS/AMBIENT LIGHTING.
Why are there no fog lamps and a better stereo system with more speakers? Also, are the acceleration and gas savings really okay?
Carbon build up if still only direct injection??????
Have an SE R line AWD on order, been waiting a month so far. Wouldn't take the white one they had on the lot because there a too many white VW's as is and the other one had "Cinnamon" interior which was not for me.

I have the SE-R Line Black for 4 months now. It needs more power than 184. Which is why I still miss my 2013 Tiguan SE with 200 hp — that little car had guts!
