2018 Mercedes-AMG S-Class 63:New engine, new transmission, new all-wheel drive, new exterior and interior design: On the S63 4MATIC+ (fuel consumption combined: 8.9 l/100 km; CO2 emissions combined: 203 g/km), Mercedes-AMG has dramatically honed the driving dynamics and looks further. For improved performance with significantly reduced fuel consumption, the AMG 4.0-litre V-8 Biturbo engine with cylinder deactivation replaces the previous 5.5-litre V-8 Biturbo. Despite the smaller displacement, the new engine puts out 450 kW (612 hp) and thus exactly 20 kW (27 hp) more than the preceding model. With a sprint time of 3.5 seconds from zero to 100 km/h, the performance luxury saloon is on par with full-blooded sports cars. The AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 9‒speed sports transmission replaces the previous 7-speed gearbox. This has enabled more agile response times to be achieved. The fully variable AMG Performance 4MATIC+ all-wheel-drive system provides optimal traction. At the same time as the S63 4MATIC+, the top-of-the-range model S65 (fuel consumption combined: 11.9 l/100 km; CO2 emissions combined: 279 g/km) receives a visual update that underscores the superiority of the high-end 12-cylinder model. Its 6.0-litre V-12 Biturbo engine retains its output of 463 kW (630 hp) and peak torque of 1000 Newton metres. Thanks to the highest stage of development of the V-8 and V-12 biturbo engine, both new models deliver more output and torque than the competitors. New MULTIBEAM LED headlamps and the updated front apron with jet wing underscore the more expressive appearance of both S-Class models. At the rear, the new apron and modified tailpipe trim add distinctive design focuses. «Impressive power, torque and performance on the road, as well as the expressive design distinguish the new Mercedes-AMG S63 4MATIC+ and the new S65. With the S63, we additionally took a major development step that supports our leadership claim in the areas of driving dynamics, performance, traction, equipment and demonstrative comfort. 2018 Mercedes-Maybach S600: The Mercedes-Maybach Pullman combines extremely spacious seating with uniquely detailed features characterised by their perfect craftsmanship. It goes without saying that Mercedes-Maybach offers its customers unique opportunities to individualise the appointments of their top-class limousines. With a length of approx. 6500 mm, the Pullman is another 1053 mm longer than the Mercedes-Maybach S-Class. The wheelbase is an impressive 4418 mm. Furthermore, at 1598 mm in height, the Pullman is more than 100 mm taller than a Mercedes S-Class, resulting in tangibly more headroom. The twin-turbo V-12 engine in the Mercedes-Maybach Pullman has an output of 390 kW (530 hp). It has a displacement of 5980 cc, and produces a peak torque of 830 Nm from 1900 rpm. The top speed of the Pullman Guard is electronically limited to 160 km/h. The executive seats offer a unique level of comfort thanks to their special adjustment kinematics. In contrast to the norm, the backrest is adjusted separately while the footwell and seat reference point remain unchanged. The cushion can be adjusted separately, while the seat angle and height adjustment are combined. For the executive seats, the maximum backrest angle is 43.5 degrees. The most upright backrest position of 19 degrees allows relaxed working in the rear. The reclining seats feature a calf support, which is freely adjustable for length and angle. As standard, the luxury head restraints come with an extra cushion. The two first-class travellers in the rear enjoy the largest legroom of any car in the segment, as well as 60 millimetres more headroom than in a Mercedes-Maybach S-Class. Thanks to the large rear doors and the further aft position of the passengers on the executive seats, access to all seats is easy and convenient. A real boost in comfort for those heads of state and monarchs for whom protocol dictates that they must take their places ahead of their interpreters. This seating arrangement also preserves privacy, as to a large extent the passenger is hidden by the rear roof pillar.
