2018 Chevrolet Colorado Changes: The current Colorado doesn’t really look like any of GM’s trucks. Instead, it is much closer in design to their old generation crossovers. Some suggested the new model could follow the same route, but we wouldn’t be so sure about it. Why? Well, Chevrolet’s latest crossovers offer a car-like design now, and this is unlikely to be used on their trucks. Instead, it is safe to assume the upcoming Colorado will share quite a few more design cues with the upcoming Silverado. Expect the two to get a similar grille and set of headlights as well as possibly a similar tailgate. The Colorado’s cab won’t change much, but it should still be much more muscular than before thanks to the changes made to its front fascia. The 2018 Chevy Colorado ZR2 will likely be carried over but the changes done to it will be smaller than those done to the regular versions of the truck. Interior: The interior of the 2018 Chevrolet Colorado is likely going to be quite close to that of the current model. The truck is expected to boast the same infotainment system as well as the same overall layout of the dashboard. However, the instrument cluster could be revised while the gear shifter might be replaced with a rotary knob. This would free up valuable space on the center console which would allow them to install additional auxiliary buttons or even new features such as an easier-to-use wireless charging system for mobile phones…

In order to serve the needs of different customer groups effectively, there are three design and equipment lines to choose from. These vary in terms of design and scope of functions: the PURE variant is designed for conventional use as a rugged pickup, the PROGRESSIVE meets higher requirements in terms of quality feel and comfort, and the POWER is the high-end variant for urban lifestyles. The X-Class’s design draws attention to the basic virtues of a pickup — robustness, strength and off-road capability — in an emotionally appealing way. Even the dimensions themselves exude effortless superiority with a length of 5340 millimetres, a width of 1920 millimetres (excluding the outside mirrors) and a height of 1819 millimetres. Both physically imposing and hardworking, the X-Class can haul a payload of up to 1.1 tonnes. That is enough to transport 17 full 50-litre barrels of beer in the cargo area. Able to tow up to 3.5 tonnes, it can pull a trailer containing three horses or an eight-metre yacht….
