Just wanted to get some different audio from a few very different sounding vehicles.
First we have the Mazda RX-8 GT, personally my favorite GT car. It sounds like it’s going to fly apart and shoots fire at all times, what’s not to love? Rotary powered.
The next car you will see is a Ferrari 458 Italia, they were extremely quiet and you probably cannot even hear it on this video at all. I believe they must have been running something very near to the showroom stock exhaust on all of the Ferrari cars.
I assume they must have to «de-tune» them pretty seriously in some way to run in this series.
The APR Audi R8 comes into view next, and you can hear it make a quick shift before it comes into frame. Then you can hear it pop a downshift right before it makes the left turn. V10 powered.
The Turner BMW GT M3 comes down the pit lane last. V8 powered.
I apologize for the shakyness at the end, the camera was basically falling out of my hand and I was at the top of the grandstands! It’s tough to get a shot where you can actually hear an individual engine once the race starts and all the cars are screaming around everywhere.
