In this video you will get to see why it is that removing your Heater Core is such a big job.
After additional research it is determined that the steering column, airbags, radio, heater controls, and upper dash do have to be removed to get to the Heater Core. You will see why by watching this video. I may or may not add additional videos to this series. If I do, it will be because I took this car off the road for a few weeks to do the job in my spare time. Cool Thx for infos! I Got pretty much the same problem, i no heat what so ever; i tested heater valve, prestone lvl, heater blower, must be the valves in the ducks, i gotta check that out, so i'll be removing my dash like you, looks so fun! LOL!!!!
Yeah….no fun at all. I am getting a slight fogging of the inside windshield so, I to think it is the heater core. But, oddly enough, I did put something down into the cavity of the heater core and thought it would come up wet…but it is dry in there. So, my next step is to find the cabin filter which is on the firewall side supposedly to see if perhaps I picked up some antifreeze. If so, it could produce a smell in the cabin. But, I think that is hopeful thinking.
Amazed you didn't pull the engine to do that.. Sigh
It's a big job for someone who doesn't know how to do it right. You just taught a lot of people how to do it wrong. but at least someone who doesn't know how to do it doesn't brake their crap trying.
Why bother doing any of this when the video taping is so awful!

Good luck getting that mess together. You obviously don't know about the cabin air filter thats underneath the driver side. Before you start taking all that apart maybe you should look and do your research to see the proper way how to do it. You don't look like you know what you're doing. You have way too much stuff torn apart. A mess. Crazy
