Mainly just removing the split loom covering to reveal the Air Conditioning wires if you are not going to use these then you can just pull them out. Follow along to get your alternator charging your battery.

hi.i am George. I guess you remember me.a question. my alternator is hitachi 70 amps with the round plug and 4 pins in the plug.subaru legacy ej22 1992 jdm model.my problem is that I want to upgrade with a better newer alternator and after hours searching in net it is a very simple upgrade. but the plug of this hitachi alternator has a pin that it goes to the ECU. the ecu controls the voltage that it comes from the alternator switching it on or off. do you know if I could delete this wire because the newer alternators don't need to be controlled from the ECU. somehow I am very concerned about this upgrade ….if you can help I would be very appreciated.
Hi. When you said that you connect the whites to the starter in a bus, are you just using that as a path to the battery?
Where did you get the wire labels from?
